Also called licenses or image licenses, one of these copyright templates must appear on your uploaded files, or they may be summarily deleted. These are most easily placed on your images at the point of upload, where you will find a drop-down menu called "Licensing". At Special:Upload, this drop-down is at the bottom of the page, directly under the main text entry box. If you choose to add images directly from an editing window (through the "photo" button under "add features and media") instructions are provided in BIG LETTERS about how to find the licensing drop down.
